What’s new for consumers this autumn?
Starting with upgrades for end-users, Copilot in SharePoint Text v1 now allows users to rewrite and enhance existing posts or create new ones, including adjusting the tone, modifying the length, and reviewing content. Next month, Copilot in Word and PowerPoint will enable users to generate custom images to beautify their content. In Word, Copilot can search for images in Microsoft’s stock library, while in PowerPoint, these images can be seamlessly blended with slide designs.
In Teams, recent Copilot enhancements include customization of drafted messages and managing access to AI-generated insights and transcripts, with Teams Premium users gaining access to these features next quarter.
In Word and PowerPoint, Copilot now has expanded access to information across Microsoft 365 tenants, including emails and PDFs, aiding in content summarization and enrichment. PowerPoint also features refined slide designs, robust presentation structures, and enhanced content transitions and animations. Users can ask Copilot in PowerPoint to generate rich content powered by Microsoft Graph, Cloud, and Bing.
