Foldable smartphones, is 2023 the right year for the boom
is 2023 the right year for the boom?

All models already released (and the most anticipated ones) Foldable smartphones are approaching their sliding door. Never like this year; in fact, the feeling is that the main telephone manufacturers want to focus decisively on these devices. We are not in the presence of an absolute novelty, but this time the various Oppo and Honor, but also Xiaomi and Vivo, seem intent on marketing their creatures all over the world, not just in China.
Not to mention the confirmations from Samsung and Motorola. And the debuts of OnePlus and especially Google in this particular segment. We, therefore, expect twelve months with a high rate of innovation.
Oppo has opened the dance
Oppo has already brought its Find N2 Flip to Europe. Foldable smartphone with a clamshell design, which challenges Samsung’s Z Flip series with an uncovered face with an extra card: the external secondary screen is larger than the South Korean company’s counterpart and, therefore, more usable when the device is closed on itself.
The experts are fully convinced of this, thanks to the combination of performance and size. It cost 1,200 euros (1,199.99 euros to be exact) and was among the protagonists of the Mobile World Congress 2023.
