With the arrival of the end of the year, we sum up and see which have been the best among the many new mobile terminals launched in this 2019. Another year has passed and it is time to draw conclusions regarding the best smartphones released by the various companies during 2019. The sales of new terminals have remained almost at the same levels as in 2018, with an overwhelming majority obtained by Samsung which - thanks also to the US ban - has distanced Huawei by consolidating itself as the best-selling brand in Italy, and beyond. Indeed, to give an idea of the predominance of the Korean company in Italy we c an say that Samsung has sold more or less the same number of smartphones sold by Huawei and Apple - third classified - put together (source GfK)! All the others have only to share the crumbs, with Wiko selling well in the lower end of the market, the Chinese Xiaomi and Oppo growing, and some historical brands that instead continue to lose market share.

We also finally saw the first folding displays, including announcements, withdrawals and re-announ c ements, which also in this case suggest that we wait for a greater maturity of the technologies involved.

So let’s see which smartphones we have considered among the best of the year.

Best in the low end: Wiko View3

The entry-level market segment is the one that often forces us to make several compromises, as it is not possible to have good performance and quality components at a price of less than 200 euros, however this is a range that is in great demand by all those people who cannot or don’t want to spend too much, and that maybe they use the phone for what was once considered the primary use, to call.
