Top-selling smartphones of the first quarter of 2023

The ranking of the most searched smartphones in 2023 has updated with some important ones. We no longer find any Xiaomi smartphones in the standings, Samsung now occupies 6 positions. Apple is in first position with the excellent iPhone 14: the device was released last year and will not be replaced before autumn. With the iPhone 14 Pro also in the Max variant, two smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy S23 line finally arrive in the rankings. The ranking fully reflects the international picture of smartphone sales:

the top-of-the-range and entry-level models are the most in demand.

1. iPhone 14 iPhone 14 is now stable in the top 10 of the most searched smartphones in 2023. The device is the successor of the iPhone 13, which changes only in two aspects. On board we find the same heart of the iPhone 13 Pro which, compared to that of the previous model, gains full power. Furthermore, it optimizes the main rear photographic sensor always 12 MP, but capable of performing better night shots. Also changing is the front photographic sensor which finally offers autofocus. The price between this and the previous model is slowly approaching making many prefer, in fact, the new iPhone 14.

2. iPhone 13 iPhone 13 is in second position, beaten only by the model that replaced it. The display is a 6.1-inch OLED, the same size as the 13 Pro version, but the refresh rate stops at 60Hz and the brightness at 800 nits. On the back are two 12-megapixel cameras of excellent quality. The sensors are physically larger than the iPhone 12 and enjoy effective optical stabilization. In addition, Apple brings some of the functions also present on more expensive models to this device, such as Cinema mode, which allows you to focus on the subject by blurring the background, just like for films shot in Hollywood. It will remain in the standings for a long time to come.
