2020 trends for the digital workspace

As far as security is concerned, digital transformation in companies is developing at a faster rate than the acquisition of knowledge. In addition, IT operations and endpoint security will become increasingly interconnected as Information Technology becomes more agile. While automation-based productivity already has a prominent place in many companies, there is still a lot of work to do for IT security. Statistics such as the Report on the State of IT Security in Germany in 2019 published by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) show how much a switch to automated endpoint security is needed.
The integration of workspace management and endpoint security is gradually becoming increasingly important for companies. The goal is to make digital working safer, without negatively impacting employee productivity. The shortage of skilled employees continues to increase, while competition for well-trained employees is intensifying. An increasingly important criterion on the basis of which qualified employees select their employer is the Digital Employee Experience (DEX), or the employee’s work experience with the digital platforms provided by the employer’s IT.
The digital workspace, therefore, becomes an advantage, or a disadvantage, competitive in the struggle for the acquisition of talent. The opportunity of an optimized DEX that allows the automatic insertion of an employee, from the first day of work, is a point on which we leverage: the positive start of the new job depends on how simple and flowing the processes are in this phase. To ensure a satisfactory and continuous user experience, employees can access applications and data at any time, from any device and wherever they are.
The digital work was designed to be virtually invisible to the employee in the background, through data encryption and decryption and through continuous protection against malware thanks to behavioral analysis.
