LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional networking platform, is opening up a new front in the freelance job market.

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional networking platform, is opening up a new front in the freelance job market.
The Microsoft-owned company will launch a service designed for freelancers, called Service Marketplace.
This new feature will allow freelancers on the LinkedIn network to connect with potential clients who are willing to hire them, commissioning jobs, modeled on platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork. As of 2020, thanks to the pandemic and smartworking, the two sites have earned $ 550 million, a 37% increase over the previous year.
LinkedIn announced plans to launch a test of this service in next February 2022 in the United States to keep up with the recruiting needs of companies and help people who had lost their jobs due to the pandemic to find employment.
